Certified Sommelier James Calloway has completed a significant expansion of the Oceanview Wine Cellar, bringing the total collection to more than 800 individual selections — a milestone he describes as “the right size for a cellar that remains personal and purposeful.”
The expansion, completed over the winter off-season, added more than 200 new labels with a particular emphasis on boutique California producers in Sonoma and Santa Barbara County, alongside additions to the cellar’s already strong Burgundy and aged Bordeaux holdings. A new section dedicated to domestic sparkling wines has also been introduced.
“What I’ve tried to build is a cellar that has genuine depth in a handful of regions, rather than a broad but shallow collection,” Calloway said. “I want members to be able to trust that anything they pull from our list at any price point was selected with real care.”
Private Locker Program
Applications for private wine locker rental are now being accepted for the 2024–2025 season. Lockers are available in three sizes and include climate-controlled storage, insured access, and a complimentary annual inventory review with James. Full Club and Family members receive priority application review.
